"Your attitude, your approach, the sense of confidence and purpose you bring to your activity are what people observe when they say you are ‘good at it.’” — Mayamoto Musashi, The Book of Five Rings

Madison Middle School
Welcome! Exploratory Tech is a skill acquisition based class focusing on keyboarding. I don't expect everyone to become 120 wpm typists, but I do expect a sincere effort in all assignments. Hopefully, the students will learn how a computer and its software can make their other classes more enjoyable and easier!

REMEMBER

  • “Approach the situation for what it is, and nothing more: whether you like it or not is irrelevant.”
  • “To accomplish a task quickly and to perform it well is not to be haphazard about anything.”
  • “Practicing a thousand days is said to be discipline, and practicing ten thousand days is said to be refining.”

The above quotes are from Mayamoto Musashi's The Book of Five Rings

The extension of knowledge consists in the investigation of things.  When things are investigated, knowledge is extended; when knowledge is extended, the will becomes sincere; when the will is sincere, the mind is rectified; when the mind is rectified, personal life is cultivated; when personal life is cultivated, the family will be regulated; when the family is regulated, the state will be in order; and when the state is in order, there will be peace in the world.
