URGENT Please Support the Madison Middle School Library  Read More

Starting on January 23 and ending on February 17 we’re having an online Titlewish fundraiser. 100% of the money we raise will go directly to purchasing new materials for our school library.
We’re asking you to participate and help us raise $2,000. We’re going to use this money to purchase eBooks for our school eLibrary.  Our collection of eBooks is available to students and the community anytime through our library homepage.  Students can use books online for work at home or to supplement assignments.  Teachers can use them in the classroom with the interactive whiteboards.
You can view the eLibrary through our library link at www.madisonms.org.
Follett Library Resources will donate an additional 10% to all money raised.  To help us meet our goal, please visit www.titlewish.com/101327 and click the Donate button.
Thank you for helping us to provide Madison students the best education possible!

Letters From APS Associate Superintendent

During our community meetings over the last few years, one common plea from the public has been for APS to encourage more meaningful parent and community involvement. PEAPS Letter  PEAPS Flyer

CONGRATULATIONS GEO BEE STUDENTS!

The nine students who made it to the school Geography Bee worked very hard and after seven arduous rounds, a final round and a tiebreaker. (It was a nail biter.) The winner of the school Bee was eighth grader, Thomas Whitley. The second place finisher was seventh grader, Alex Hamilton. Congratulations to these two boys as well as the other seven finishers, Kanani Cavis (8th), Colin Owens (6th), Jacob Rutgers (6th), Dillon Szabo (8th), Samantha Markowitz (8th), Sam Slagle (8th) and Steven Aque (8th).

Thank you for your support of Geography and the Social Studies department as these students and most students at Madison took part in this activity. Also, thank you to those teachers who have the nine finalists in their fourth periods and allowed these kids to miss class to participate in the Geography Bee. If you see Thomas, please wish him luck as he will be taking the quiz to participate in the State Geography Bee next week.
